Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Thrive Therapy has an immediate opening for a part time Pediatric Occupational Therapist. We are looking for a dynamic, creative and self-driven individual to join our team! We provide occupational therapy services in a child’s natural environment. These settings include daycares, pre-schools, schools and homes. We provide our therapists with support, quick communication and resources to ensure they feel supported, and continue to grow professionally. Our therapists get to manage their own schedules, providing flexibility and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Perform selected components of occupational therapy intervention to include treatment, measurement, and data collection in accordance with laws, regulatory requirements, and AOTA documents.
- Implement treatment plans designed to help patients progress and develop within their natural environment.
- Implement screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations using delegated assessments and providing reports of these clinical observations.
- Record all entries on notes, charts, etc. in an informative and descriptive manner.
- Timely and accurately record occupational therapy services in an informative and descriptive manner.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an occupational therapy school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in the Occupational Therapy Education, or equivalent.
- Must be licensed or eligible for Occupational Therapy Licensure in the state of practice.
- One year minimum of experience is preferred (strong pediatric OT with less experience will be considered).
- Ability to pass a background screening, drug test, and drive history check.
- Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management, and documentation skills.
- Must desire to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and interact professionally.
